Jacob Carroll

Jacob "Jake" Wright Carroll, age 24, of Eaton Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Grand Rapids. The son of James Carroll & Michele (Wright) Johnson, he was born on November 9, 1992 in Lansing. He attended Eaton Rapids Public schools and was a 2011 graduate from Eaton Rapids High School. Growing up, Jacob participated and excelled in a variety of sports and found great joy in creating art and writing his own music. Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ella Rose Wright. Surviving are his mother, Michele (Ray) Johnson of Potterville; father, James Carroll of Eaton Rapids; sister, Jennifer Carroll; brother, Justin Carroll; paternal grandparents, JW and Cathy Carroll; maternal grandfather, Chester Wright; nephew, Timothy Pitcher; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends all of whom remember him fondly and will miss him dearly. Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ella Rose Wright. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W Saginaw St, Lansing, with a visitation one hour prior. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home where the service is being held. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family may be sent to Michele Johnson at 5155 Windsor Hwy, Potterville MI 48876.
