Jacqueline Louise “Jackie” Copeland, age 87, of Greenville, Michigan, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026 at Corewell Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The daughter of Norris J. & Ava Elnora (Waldron) Sipperley, she was born on February 22, 1939 in Greenville, Michigan, and was a 1957 graduate of Greenville High School.

In her freshman year of high school, she began dating John Roger Copeland, whom she married on February 10, 1958 in Greenville. Together they enjoyed 68 years of marriage and raised two sons.

Jackie was always helping on the farm and had a love for all animals… especially cats and dogs. Blessed with a “green thumb”, Jackie enjoyed tending to her flowers and gardens, as well as cooking and baking, but found her greatest joy being with family and friends… especially her granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Christopher Copeland; and a brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Beechler.

Surviving are her husband, Roger Copeland; their sons, Rick Copeland, and Ken & Judy Copeland; two granddaughters, Mykalia & Matthew Bolen, and Kendra Copeland; a sister, Marjorie Beechler; a sister-in-law, Linda Lake; and a life-long family friend, Patsy Raby.

Honoring Jackie’s wishes, no services will be held and burial at Eureka Township Cemetery will take place later.
