Jack Nederveld

Jack Nederveld II, of Coopersville, Michigan, passed away on his 70th birthday, Tuesday, May 3, 2022. He was born May 3, 1952, in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Jack and Marion (Mieras) Nederveld. Jack married the love of his life, Barbara Louise Gilson on September 18, 1971, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He worked as an Ottawa County 911 dispatcher for over 25 years and was a volunteer firefighter for 28 years with the city of Coopersville. Jack will be missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Barb; daughter, Roxanne (Blaine DeYoung); son, Troy (Dannie Jo) Nederveld; and grandchildren, Kayley (Jack) Vanmaldegem, Kodie Smith, Paige Nederveld, Raelynne Atkinson, and Jessie Elzinga. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and no formal services are being held at this time. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, 616-452-3006.
