Jack Debruin

Jack Douglas DeBruin, age 57, Belding, passed away on November 16, 2018. He was born November 20, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Robert and Gloria (Kreuzer) DeBruin. Jack graduated from Forest Hills Central High School with the class of 1978. He went on to further his education at the University of Michigan where he earned a bachelor's degree in Architecture. He was a proud partner and architect at Design Plus for many years. Jack enjoyed restoring classic cars, playing golf, and spending time on the boat at the lake. He is survived by his daughter, Lindsey DeBruin; significant other, Kristi Kelly; brothers, Robert and Thom DeBruin; sister, Allison Brinks; and his best-friend, Tom Cooper. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David DeBruin. A Memorial Service will be held on November 28, 2018, from 1:00pm until 4:00pm in The Pearl Room at The Waldron in downtown Grand Rapids.
