Jack Baker

Jack Edward Baker, 64, of Ionia, went to be with his Lord surrounded by his family and under the care Spectrum Health Hospice, Sunday, December 3, 2017. The son of Walter & Alice (Meeker) Baker, he was born on May 17, 1953, in Belding. He married Ida Mae Blew in May of 1982. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, and three brothers; Robert Baker, Dennis Baker, and Thomas Baker. Surviving him are his children, Richard & Tammy Barber of Ionia; Scott Barber of Ionia, and Ryan & Heidie Fox of Ionia; brother, Richard Baker of Ionia; grandchildren, Nicole Munsell, Hannah Ross, Maggie Barber, Torrey Gessler, Samantha Gessler, J.J. Gessler, Emily Fox, Bailey Fox, and Andrew Fox, all of Ionia; great grandchildren, Jade, Mason, Kadyn, Aliyah, Ali, Ava, Sadie, Cayden, Wyatt, Parker, River Edward, Laylah, and Lillian. The family would like to thank Jeanne Baker and family, who was a special caregiver to Jack. Arrangements were entrusted to Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville.
