Ivy Hootman

Ivy Margaret Hootman, age 82, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at The Laurels of Carson City. The daughter of John & Iris Rebecca (Gordanier), she was born on January 25, 1935 in Detroit. Surviving are her children, John & Lisa Hootman of Brighton, Michael & Karen Hootman of Brighton, Lloyd & Madeleine Hootman of New Boston, Lisa & John Goodroe of Novi, Frederick & Karine Hootman of Dearborn Heights, Jack Jr. & Kelly Hootman of Westland, Cheryl & Tim Grimwood of Crystal, Ivy Kay & Scott Michael of DeWitt, Iris Cole & Elvis of Harrison, and Brad & Sandra Hootman of Brighton; three sisters, Elaine Kaltz of Livonia, Barbara Purkiss of Redford, and Carole Brutz of Howell; many, many grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Saint Matthew Lutheran Church, 5885 N. Venoy Road, Westland, where funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday.
