Ivan Orr

Ivan Eugene Orr, age 87, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2019. He was born in South Haven, Michigan on March 15, 1932, to the late Victor and Iva (Bolles) Orr. Ivan proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korea Era. Throughout his working years Ivan drove truck and worked in construction. Survivors include his daughter, Vera (John) Van Horn; son, Charles (Rene) Orr; granddaughters, Leslie Hunter, Amanda Van Horn, and Erin (Kevin) Laymon; great-granddaughters, Laney Daniel, and Aubrey Vanhorn. Ivan was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Iona; and son, Ivan Orr Jr. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, MI, exclusive providers of Veterans Funeral Care.
