Irma Nelson Smith, age 87, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 12, 2009 at Sentinel Pointe Retirement Community in Cascade Township. She leaves behind her three children, Mark Nelson Smith, Marilyn Faller (David) and Carrie Supplee (Tucker). She had 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be on Friday, May 22nd at The First Evangelical Free Church on 2077 East Paris Ave. in Grand Rapids at 6 p.m. followed by fellowship and a light dinner with the family after the service.
