Irene Swope

Irene Swope, recently of Portland, Ore., passed away at the Michigan Masonic Home on July 1, 2015 after a six-month battle with cancer. She had spent the last six weeks surrounded by both family and longtime friends. The daughter of Merlin Edgar and Norma Lucielle (Sherwood) Swope, she was born on April 23, 1952 in Saginaw. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18th, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Lincoln Road United Methodist Church, 9479 West Lincoln Road, Riverdale.
