Ingeborg Diehm

Ingeborg Diehm, age 79, of Naples, Florida passed away peacefully on October 11, 2018. The daughter of the late Fritz & Frieda (Preuss) Schmidt, she was born on February 17, 1939 in Hamburg, Germany. Ingeborg was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Diehm, her brother Horst and sister Karin. She is survived by her children Michael, Peggy and Oliver as well as all of her grandchildren and nieces. Ingeborg loved sports, especially tennis. She played competitive team handball growing up in Germany and was an avid tennis player after moving to the United States, playing well into her 70's. Ingeborg was very involved in the tennis community in Naples, where she loved living after retirement. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial contribution to Kindred Hospice.
