Henry Cornhill

Henry J. "Hank the Crank" Cornhill, age 87, of Caledonia, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Henry served aboard the U.S.S. Hopi in the European Theater. He retired from Checker Motors. Hank was well loved and will be missed by his wife, Beverly Cornhill; children, Daniel (Debbie) Otis, Michael (Linda) Otis, Scott (Carrie) Otis, Kimberly Otis; nineteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many sisters, nieces, and nephews; and by his church family. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at CrossWind Community Church, 1683 142nd Avenue, Dorr, where friends may meet the family beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be Friday, January 16, 2015 at Fort Custer National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to CrossWind Church. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place.
