Helen Almeda Blythe, age 82, of Reed City, passed away on November 24, 2021, at home, under the care of Spectrum Health Hospice, while surrounded by her family.
The daughter of Alvis Laverne and Brooksie Louise (Thomas) Cagle, she was born on September 10, 1939, in Trumann, Arkansas.
Helen was an advertising representative with The Herald-Palladium newspaper in Southwest Michigan for over 30 years. She loved going to garage sales and searching for antiques and hidden gems. Helen enjoyed reading any book she could get her hands on. Her greatest pleasure was getting to spend any time she could with her family.
You could often find Helen sitting outside, feeding and watching the wildlife around the yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvis and Brooksie Cagle, Sister Laverne Taylor, and Brother Alvis Cagle, Jr.
Surviving is her sister, Linda Mott; three children, Lori Neahr, Angela Collis, and Paul Blythe; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
