Harvey Kunnen

Harvey Kunnen went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2017 in Grand Rapids, at the age of 85. Harvey was born on December 31, 1931, in Fremont, to Albertus (Ben) and Hazel Dobb Kunnen. Harvey was born on December 31, 1931, in Fremont, to Albertus (Ben) and Hazel Dobb Kunnen. Harvey was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Plaisier. Harvey is survived by his wife of 33 years, Margaret Klisch-Kunnen; children, Roger Kunnen, Joyce (Jim) Folkersma, Paula (Don) Hurst, Jim (Marilyn) Kunnen, Marla Tyler, and Nancy (Dave) Van Noord; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson. Harvey served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and had a number of jobs throughout the course of his life. Harvey lived out his faith his entire life, pointing others to the Lord. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on July 29, 2017 at Christ Church, 2500 Breton Road, Grand Rapids, where a visitation will be held one hour prior with a light luncheon to follow the service.
