Harold Scott Sheldon, age 52, of Stanton, Michigan, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Fred & Lena Meijer Heart Center at Corewell Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The son of Leo Richard & Sally Ann (Yoder) Sheldon, he was born on January 8, 1974 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was a graduate of Lakewood High School. Harold was employed in the foundry at Dicastal North America, Inc. in Greenville.

An avid ghosthunter, Harold was the founder of the Ghost Paranormal Investigations group. He also delighted in time spent outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Sheldon; and his grandparents, Kenneth & Lucy Sheldon, and Harold & Margaret Yoder. 

Surviving are his wife, Lorie Sheldon of Stanton, Michigan; his mother and step-father, Sally & Bliss Allison of Port Charolotte, Florida; two children, Shelby & Shabe Densteadt of Eaton Rapids, Michiagn, and Hunter Sheldon of DeWitt, Michigan; a step-son, Nicholas Hardy & Hadassah Zimmerman of Crystal, Michigan; two sisters, Laurie Heckman, and Carrie Unterbrink.

A celebration of Harold’s life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
