Harold Mason

Harold Allen Mason, Sr., age 77, of Greenville, passed away early Thursday morning, April 14, 2022 at home under the care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of George & Beulah (Jones) Mason, he was born February 7, 1945 in Greenville. Harold was a farm hand on several area farms, including Petersen's and Hansen's. He loved wrenching in the garage on cars and could fix anything. He had a knack for making things work for him with whatever he had at hand. He will forever be remembered by his family as a story-teller of all things long ago. Before his health declined, he enjoyed fishing and just being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Frank Williams, George Mason Jr., Ann Gietzen, and Delbert Marshall. Surviving are his children, Harold Allen Jr. & Christina Mason, Michelle & Miguel Arellano, and William Bradford & Kelly Mason; nineteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family is from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Christiansen's Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday (PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE). The Rev. Bryan Savage, pastor of Greenville Community Church, will officiate and a luncheon will follow at the Family Life Center Church of God in Belding.
