Harold Jenks

Mr. Harold Clifford Jenks, age 70, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at his home. The son of Clifford & Evelyn (Anderson) Jenks, he was born on Aug. 22, 1939 in Lansing and was a graduate of Mason High School. Harold was a member of the Greenville Bible Methodist Church and formerly attended Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judith Judy Jenks on Jan. 5, 1993; and by a son, Douglas H. Jenks on Feb. 7, 1998. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy & Abdi Musse of Olney, Maryland; a brother, Raymond & Geraldine Jenks of Paris; a sister, Alice Marie Krause of Kalamazoo; and six grandchildren, Spec. Adam Musse, stationed with the U.S. Army at Fort Hood, Texas, Sarah Musse, Bryant Musse, Bethany Musse, and Katy Musse, all of Maryland, and James Mourer of Trufant. Visitation is Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the Greenville Bible Methodist Church, 927 Greenbrier at Edgewood, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Dennis C. Johnson will officiate and burial will take place privately in Eureka Township Cemetery. Instead of flowers, Harold would have appreciated contributions in his memory to Spectrum Health Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the church. The Christiansen Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Greenville, is serving the family.
