Harold Lawrence Benson, age 88, of Edmore, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his home.
The son of Anton & Ella (Olson) Benson, he was born on December 29, 1923 in Muskegon and worked as a civil engineer for the U.S. Army for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Betty Benson of Edmore; and children, Robert (Elsena) Benson, Mark (Audrey) Benson, and Paul Benson.
Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place.
