Gregory Scott Cobb

Gregory Scott Cobb, age 64, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2026, in Battle Creek Michigan. Born May 7, 1962, Gregory brought warmth and joy to lives of everyone who knew him. He was the beloved son of the late Susan (Noud) Cobb and the late Robin Joseph DeRushia and the cherished son of his adopted father Dean Cobb.

Greg lived life as a true adventured. A traveler at heart, he followed his wandering spirit, never staying in one spot for too long and embracing the freedom of the open road. Music was his greatest passion, he was a talented musician who loved sharing his gift, playing in several bands over the years and bringing people together through song.

Gregs life was enriched by a large loving family. He was a devoted brother to his sisters, Ann Marie (Ken) Marsili, Erica (Troy) Shiffer, Erin (James) Abbott and Chris Davison, and his brothers Kevin DeRushia, Kurtis DeRushia and Michael Harris. He also shared a uniquely close bond with his very special Uncle Raffaele (Paty) Divitto. Greg loved animals and he leaves behind his dearest companion Chevy (cat). His memory will be treasured by his many nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends he made along the journeys.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held on a later date to celebrate Gregs life.
