Gloria O'Herron

Gloria O'Herron, age 75, of Greenville, passed away Sunday morning, August 25, 2019 under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice at her daughter's home. The daughter of Cecilo & Marie (Fernandez) Lopez, she was born on June 3, 1944 in Stanton. On Nov. 28, 1964, in Grand Rapids, she married Frank Delaney O'Herron and together they raised two children and enjoyed almost 46 years of marriage until Frank passed away on July 27, 2010. Gloria had worked at the former Ore-Ida Foods plants in quality control and enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, and trips to the casino. She had been a member of the Eagles and Lions clubs and was a proud member of the Red Hat Society in Weidman. Surviving are her children, Michael Delaney & Colleen O'Herron of Gowen, and Tina & Cleo McKinley of Greenville; five grandchildren, Kurt Hansen, Meghan Jones & Mitch Owen, Samantha O'Herron, Jake O'Herron, and Tonya McKinley & Casey Curnutt; a great granddaughter, Shyla Haverstick; a brother, Jerry & Bonnie Lopez; a half-brother, Jesus Lopez; eight siblings-in-law, Iona, Mary, Alice, Rosemary, Marie, Danny, Johnny, and Mike; and many, many nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family is on Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville.
