Gloria Herroon

Gloria Jean (Edwards) Herroon, age 75, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 at her home with her sons at her side. The daughter of Donald Reuben & Gladys Eleanor (Crowe) Edwards, she was born on September 3, 1947 in Leroy, Michigan. On December 5, 1970, in Greenville, she married Richard E. Herroon. Gloria liked "glamping" on the family property up north, seeing the wild life in her backyard, listening to the birds and taking pictures of the many birds, and the deep tone of the wind chime. She thought the world of her grandsons and great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard E. "Dick" Herroon; a son, Todd M. Edwards Herroon; and a sister, Sheila R. Stout. Surviving are her two sons, Troy R. & Marda Edwards, and Jason C. Herroon, both of Greenville; her siblings, Claudia Ann & Harry Bigler of Greenville, Keith & Theresa Edwards of Gowen, Judy & John Hall of Stanton, Kathy & Jim King of Belding; her grandsons, Tyler Edwards & Tanea Bradbury of Greenville, Dallas Herroon & Ashley Pohl of Cedar Springs, Collin Herroon & Brittany Human of Greenville, and Jayden C. Herroon of Grand Rapids; her great-grandsons, Traylen B. Edwards, Kavik M. Edwards, and Malakai J. Herroon; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Gloria's life will be held beginning from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at The Chosen Ones Clubhouse, 4772 S. Lake Road, Greenville. Honoring her wishes, burial took place privately at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.
