Glenn Thomas Williams, age 60, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday morning, Oct. 10, 2007 at his home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Fred & Mary Louise (Conners) Williams, he was born on Jan. 17, 1947 in Mt. Clemens. A veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, Glenn served with the U.S. Army and was a member of the Ray I. Booth American Legion Post 101 in Greenville. For almost thirty years, Glenn worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Williams; his mother, Mary Williams OKief; a brother, Gerald Williams; and a step-father, Shannon OKief.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Diana & Patric Turner of Kentwood; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Julie Williams of Wasilla, Alaska; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Williams.
