Gladys Pagan Garcia

Gladys Pagan Garcia, age 53, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020. She was born on July 25, 1967, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Heriberto Pagan and Nilda Gotay. At 19 years old, she lost her father and took of the role of provider for her mom and brother. She took care of her mother all of her life. Gladys was an amazing daughter and best mom her children could have asked for. Everything she did was for her children. She was a hard working woman, single mom and amazing daughter. She helped anyone who needed her. Her family will remember her Saturday mornings, putting on her shortest shorts and doing her make up just to clean around the house. They will remember a woman who was always happy and smiling with a care free loving spirit. Gladys was a best friend, guide, role model and hero to many. Lastly, Gladys was a warrior and fought until her final breath. She is so loved and will be eternally missed. She is survived by her mother Nilda Garcia, brother Juan Pagan, son Christopher Cruz, daughter Ashley Perez as well as grand children and nieces. She is preceded in death by her father Heriberto Pagan.
