Giovonta M. Gillen, age 36, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. He was born on August 9, 1986, in Grand Rapids. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Cathedral of Saint Andrew, 215 Sheldon Blvd SE, Grand Rapids. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday at the church, Rev. Bill Edens celebrant. Burial will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
