Gina Marie Spain, 62, passed away June 14, 2025 in her home in Montague, Michigan. She was born on December 6, 1962 in Stanton, California. Cremation has taken place and, as was her wish, there will be no service at this time. If you’d like to commemorate Gina in some way, we are asking that donations be sent to either the American Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association through the links provided below.
Gina spent most of her career with AIS Construction Equipment, where she loved her position, the work she did, and her co-workers. Her sassy demeanor charmed everyone she met which made her unforgettable to all her co-workers and customers. She could always be relied on to have a drawer full of snacks that kept everyone coming back; she was a true care-taker who was always giving in any way she could. Gina believed that hard work, determination, and a lot of love would get you everywhere in life.
Gina was the kind of woman who took care of everyone she met. She acted as a mother to many and a friend to even more. She was always available to talk, listen, or be a shoulder to cry on. Gina would give you everything she had, plus some, and wouldn't think twice about it. She loved being a mother to her own children, her grand-dogs, and those adopted along the way.
Gina had a passion for story telling. While legally blind, she still managed to read every day, reading over 130 books in 2024. She was constantly learning and growing through her story telling, and loved to share memories with her family. Gina was always up for a game, even when she couldn’t see the cards, because she loved spending time and having fun with family. She was a strong and resilient woman, a fighter with a smile until the very end.
She is survived by daughters Nicole Domcik (Tim) of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Stephanie Spain of New Holland, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her father Gino Muzzin (Elsie) and her siblings; brother Jim Muzzin, sister Lisa Sizemore and sister Suzanne Pscholka (Al). She was proceeded in death by her mother Alberta Muzzin (Gino), and her brother in law Larry Sizemore (Lisa). Gina will be missed by her family, old colleagues, and friends who will remember her sassy nature and beautiful soul.
We appreciate all your support during this difficult time.
