Gilbert Sherrick

Gilbert Eugene Sherrick, age 76, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at home. The son of Eugene Burl & Gloria Jean (Spyker) Sherrick, he was born on February 19, 1948 in Lima, Ohio and was a 1967 graduate of Greenville High School. Gilbert had worked at the former Electrolux Home Products in Greenville where he was a member of U.A.W. Local 137. He enjoyed fishing, painting, working on cars, and traveling in his younger years. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Anthony Sherrick. Surviving are his daughter, Christi Medlar of Greenville; his grandsons, Avery Medlar & Brooklynne Grover and Jordan Medlar; two special nieces, Lisa & Tim Akins and Dena & David McKellips; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many cousins. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a date to be determined and will be announced later.
