Gerald Raymond Williams, age 73, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Born on November 5, 1950, in Detroit, Gerald was a veteran of U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War era and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 Device, and the Vietnam Service Medal with One Bronze Service Star, as well as Two Overseas Service Bars. Committal services, with military honors, are at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan.
