Gerald Lavern Dodds, age 92, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at home. The son of Clarence Lafeyette & Aletta (Dolph) Dodds, he was born on March 9, 1926 in Muskegon. Sgt. Gerald was a proud U.S. Army Air Forces Veteran serving in WWII as an Aerial Gunner, where he earned the Air Crew Member Badge, the Army of Occupation Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
