Gerald Debruine

Gerald DeBruine Jerry, 78, of Jenison, was peacefully called to his heavenly home Monday, September 15, 2014. He served his country in the U. S. Navy and was a Journeyman Master Electrician retired from Amway Corp. He belonged to Ravenna Lodge F&AM, Peninsular Chapter O.E.S., and Saladin Shrine. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Letha of 54 years and children Charlotte Piskun, Susan Dine, and John (Ruth) DeBruine. He loved his grandchildren, Caroline (Tylor Wood) and Matthew Piskun; Nicole, Amanda & Michael De Bruine; Jessica (Michael) Hembroff and Charlotte Cody and great grandson Lucas Hembroff. Jerry also leaves his two brothers Richard (Marianne) DeBruine, David (Kathy) DeBruine and sister Joan (Nelson) Waalkes, two sisters-in-law Joanne DeBruine & Eleanor Nowack, and several nieces and nephews along with our dear friends Roger and Mary Rasmussen. A special thank you to the care givers at Metro Health Cancer Center and the wonderful care he received from Faith Hospice. Honoring Jerry's wishes, cremation will take place.
