George Tribett

George A. Tribett, also known as "Porgy", age 71, of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016. The son of LeRoy & Wincie (Bradley) Tribett, he was born on July 23, 1945 in Chicago, IL. He was raised in Chicago and moved to Detroit where he retired from Chrysler after 30 years. George had a passion for model cars, playing cards, and history movies. Most of all he had a love for life and his family. He is survived by his children, Tiffany Broyles, Nicole Riggins, Corde Rivers, Tina Conway, and Chivas Rivers; Nine Grandchildren; and two Great-Grandchildren; Along with his siblings, and many other friends and family. A memorial service will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Ave. S.E., Grand Rapids.
