George Ray Sheppard, age 94, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Metron of Greenville. The son of Chauncey C. & Martha E. (Sands) Sheppard, he was born on May 17, 1923 in Henderson, West Virginia. George was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII.
He leaves behind many friends and family who will miss him greatly.
