George Olsen

George Michael Olsen, age 54, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013 at his home. Born on January 22, 1959, in Greenville, he was raised by his loving adoptive parents, Howard & Eleanor (Trottier) Olsen. After graduating from Belding High School in 1977, George enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. Following his service he returned to the area where he worked at Meijer and Electrolux Home Products. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Olsen; a brother, Terry Olsen; and a sister, Donna Mason. Surviving are his mother, Eleanor Olsen of Homestead, Florida; his children, Cheri Olsen of Greenville, Holli Olsen of Belding, and Michael Olsen & Jennifer Allen of Sidney; one granddaughter, Haylei Olsen of Sidney; his birth parents, George & Diana G. Mason of Greenville; five brothers and sisters, Richard Rick Olsen, Wanda & Glenn Adams, all of Greenville, Ed & Shelly Petersen of Stanton, Julie & Doug Martin of Coopersville, and Diana L.
