George Lefferts

George John Lefferts Jr., age 71, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. The son of George Sr. & Margaret (Grouth) Lefferts, he was born on June 1, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York. George was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War Era earning a National Defense Service Medal. A committal service with full military honors will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd., Augusta, 49012.
