George Barnes

George Henry Barnes, age 89, of Jenison, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice. The son of Floyd & Mary Barnes, he was born on March 22, 1922 in South Bend, Indiana and worked as a quality control manager for Avnet Corporation for 40 years. Survivors include a daughter, Laurie Plummer of Jenison. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements were entrusted to the Michigan Cremation Company, Grand Rapids.
