Gentry Mai Miller, age 45, of Greenville, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 4, 2021 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids surrounded by her family and with the prayerful confidence that she was going to Heaven. The daughter of John Henry & Cheryl Colleen (Bass) Bishop, she was born on July 25, 1975 in Zanesville, Ohio. Gentry had worked in salons as a nail technician, but found her greatest career achievement in being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved music and singing and had a personality that lit up a room when she entered. On October 17, 2002, in Grand Rapids, she married Rocky Allen Miller and together they enjoyed nearly 18 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cheryl Bishop on March 15, 1990. Surviving are her husband, Rocky Miller of Greenville; her children, Rachel Potts of Montrose, Chelsy Miller of Belding, and Ryley & Sierra Miller of Greenville; two grandchildren, Jaicie Maie Loper and Caden Merritt, both of Belding; her father and step-mother, John H. & Sandra Bishop, Sr. of Cedar Springs; sisters and brothers, Mandy & Ben Krum of Belding, John H. "Chip" Bishop, Jr. of Carriere, Mississippi, Caroline & Josh Armstrong of Sparta, and James & Missy Ramero of Pierson; parents-in-law, Barb Rood of Greenville, and Ernie & Mary Miller II of Gowen; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Pilgrim Bible Church, 361 W. Pine Street N.E., Cedar Springs, where memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday. A luncheon will follow the ceremony. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Gentry's I.C.U. nurse, Susan Pell, and all of her caregivers with Spectrum Health Hospice & Palliative Care.
