Gary Way

Gary A. Way, age 77, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, in Grand Rapids. Gary was born September 15, 1944, in Akron, Ohio, the son of Stanley and Eva (Parrish) Way. Surviving are his wife, Barbara, whom he married on August 16, 1985, and sons, Aaron and Brandon. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Gary was a proud graduate of the University of Michigan and was a huge fan of the Michigan Wolverines. He was always thrilled to watch them at "The Big House." He enjoyed a 42 year career at General Electric (formerly Lear Siegler and Smiths) as an engineer. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Carol, sister, Karis Way, and a brother, Dale Way. Per his wishes a private service has been held and his remains cremated.
