Gary Tuohy

Gary Emmett Tuohy, 73, of Grand Rapids passed away on March 29, 2020 at home under the loving care of his family and Kindred Hospice. He was born on February 21, 1947 in Detroit to the late Emmett Francis Tuohy & Evelyne Mae (Carnell) Tuohy. In addition to his parents; his sister, Gail Sloan, preceded him in death. Gary was an avid reader, had a lifelong interest in stamp collecting and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his children, Heather Willekens and Christopher Tuohy both of South Bend, IN, Bridget Tuohy of Niles, and Katie & Justin Sobecki of Rockford; grandchildren, Taylor Willekens, Jordan Willekens, Breanna Tuohy, Sawyer Shuttleworth, Claire Sobecki, and Evelyn Sobecki; three great-grandchildren; and brother-in law, Richard Sloan.
