Garry Guthrie

Garry F. Guthrie, age 81 of Grant, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 29, 2018, at home surrounded by family. The son of John & Jessie (Shullenberger) Guthrie, he was born August 22, 1936, in Grant. Garry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louella, His children Cheryl (Bear), Scott (Pearl), Lori (Ray), Jeanne, Russell, Tracey and Clint. His brother Jim (Maxine), 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many "adopted" kids. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jessie; his sister Betty; and his brothers, Russell and Thayne; son-in-law, Paul; and granddaughter, Amber. Garry always had a smile on his face and gumballs in his pocket. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Memorial Services will take place on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at the Grant Community Building located at 105 S.
