Frederick Vanheulen

VanHeulen, Frederick J. 12/17/1941 - 5/23/2023 Byron Center, MI Frederick J. VanHeulen, Byron Center High School Class of '60, was ushered into his eternal home in Heaven. He was surrounded by his wife, Belinda (Dykhouse) VanHeulen, his sons, Jason and Brett, and his beautiful daughter-in-law, Ann-Marie VanHeulen. Fred's granddaughters, Nora and Lucy, sang songs and gave him big hugs. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Pat VanHeulen, his sisters-in-law, Judy (Dykhouse) and Eric Robinson, Gail (Dykhouse) and Kevin Willard of Tampa, FL, and his brother-in-law, David Axelrod of Daytona, FL. Fred also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Agnes VanHeulen of Byron Center, his in-laws, John and Phyllis Dykhouse of Hudsonville, MI, and his best friend, Joe Niewiek. Fred will be remembered for the memories and laughter he shared with his cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life Service is planned for May 30th, 2023, at Douglas Walker Park Pavilion in Byron Center, MI. The service will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by a celebration with food, drinks, and "Freddy" stories. The family expresses their gratitude to the Spectrum/Crowell Hospice team for their excellent care and compassion.
