He was born on June 5, 1931 in Grand Rapids. He is survived by his wife, June Simonait of 66 years, his sister, Loraine Crago and brother, John Simonait. He will be lovingly remembered by his seven children, Lynda(Jim) Brevell, Lori (Jack) Ronda, Jim Simonait, Terry Simonait, Denny (Kathy) Simonait, Nancy(Jim) Domagalski, and Bonnie(Jackie) Simonait. Grandchildren, Katie, Kelly (Dolph), Kari (Ted)Stacy, Michael, Eric, Teresa, Jacob and Kirsten. Great grandchildren, Hannah, Katie, Noelle, Parker, Cameron and Teddy. Many nieces and nephews. Frank served in the Korean War guarding the Soo Locks in Sault St. Marie. He was a loyal employee of General Motors for 31 years. Frank was able to enjoy many years of retirement. His children and grandchildren enjoyed his great conversations and memories of old times. Frank liked to Fish,Hunt and dance the Polka. He was an easygoing man, always a smile on his face. Everyone loved Frank. The family will be holding a private Life Celebration in the coming days. The family would to extend a special thanks the staff at Hospice and StoryPoint Assisted Living for their love and care of Frank.
