Frank Galen Guy Lance II, age 58, of Fenwick, Michigan, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026 at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, following a sudden illness.

The son of Frank Galen Guy Lance, Sr. & Donna (Hyatt) Lance, he was born on January 13, 1968 in Midland, Michigan and had worked as a security guard for many years, as well as at the former Electrolux Home Products in Greenville.

On August 18, 1989, in Palo, Michigan, he married Kimberely Jean Hall and together they enjoyed over 37 years of marriage and raised two sons. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, car shows, and playing poker, but found his greatest joy in time spent with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Danny Dallas "Dan" Nolf on November 10, 2019.

Surviving are his wife, Kim Lance of Fenwick; two sons, Jason Lance of Edmore, and Ryan & Tasha Lance of Belding; two grandchildren, Melody Lance and David Lance; his parents, Frank & Donna Lance of Fenwick; a sister, Dawn & Rick Hamm of Ionia; his mother-in-law, Melody Nolf of Gowen; siblings-in-law, Larry & Jessica Hall, and Julie & Greg Bellingar; many nieces and nephews; and his ever faithful canine companion, Ivan.

A celebration of Frank’s life is being planned and will be announced later.
