Frank Johnson

Frank Charles Johnson, age 90, of Stanton, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. The son of William & Gladys (Heathcoat) Johnson, he was born on March 14, 1931 in Stanton. On September 30, 1950, he married Ethel Irene Nichols, and they enjoyed 71 years of marriage and raised five children. Frank was a proud veteran of the Michigan National Guard and had been employed at the Ranney Refrigeration Company. He enjoyed trips to the casino with his wife, hunting and fishing, but mostly delighted in times spent with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Lathrop. Surviving are his wife, Ethel; their children, Jeanette & Ed Stanton of Vestaburg, Val & Paul Adams of Vestaburg, Mark & Sue Johnson of Edmore, Frank & Jenny Johnson of Stanton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
