Floyd Richard Wireman, age 66, of Belding, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 at home under the care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Clarence & Rosalie (Lyons) Wireman, he was born on March 14, 1957 in Belding. On September 28, 1999 in Ionia, he married Karen Smith, who survives.
Floyd retired from Lacks Corporation and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Wireman; his brother Joe Wireman; his sister, Karen Deberg; and an infant brother, Frankie. Surviving are his wife, Karen Wireman; his mother, Rosalie Wireman; six children, Jeanne & Bobby Miller, Don & Jen Smith, Toni Smith, Eugene Smith, Chris Smith, and Charles Burnett; sixteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, three sisters, Jody & David Rehmert, Roseanne Wireman, Tammy Wireman; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Floyd's life will be held on Saturday, June 24 from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. at his sister Jody's house.
