Fernando Olivas

Fernando Olivas was born on March 9th 1988 in Jacksonville Florida. He was the fourth child of Amado and Maria Olivas. He was loved so much by his brothers and sisters. Ana Laura Gasca, Luis Amado Olivas, Gabriela Alejandra Olivas, but most of all his little brother Eric Esteban Olivas. "Ferman" was always trying to be one of the guys with his older brother Luis (yogi) even though he was so much younger. And "G" was the first one he called when he was in trouble knowing she always had his back. "Nandi" was Eric best friend, Brother, teacher and protector. He found love in Hannah Healey and together they were blessed with the apple of Fernando's eye Henry Daniel Olivas. Never has there been a more loving, caring dad then Fernando. Well maybe his own father. Out of all his five kids he was the only one to be named by him.His mother Maria only wanted what was best for him. That's why she always wanted more for Fernando. He had a special place for his nieces Kimberly Christine Gasca, Lissette Esperanza Gasca and Briana Marie Gasca. And for his nephew's Bobby Orien Olivas and John Charles Olivas. So many wonderful memories we shared with Fernando like him waking everybody up at 6 o'clock in the morning singing old school Mexican jams or some crazy rock song that no one really understood. He had such a great smile, laugh and most of all a great heart. He would go out of his way to help everybody out. You can all remember at one time or another having a deep conversation of how we were pretty much "going to take over the world". After his siblings no one knows this more than his cousins how much he loved you guys. And his very close friends too many to add you know who you are. Fernando will be greatly missed, but for sure never forgotten. He will always be in our minds, hearts and our memories. Let's all do our part to do things right. So that we can see him again soon. So that we can again see that wonderful smile. Hear that beautiful laugh. Will miss you Fernando! Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life (John 5:28,29) And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrectionk of both the righteous and the unrighteous. (Acts 24:15) With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (rev.21:3,4) Honoring his last wishes cremation, will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care. A private family viewing will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2015.
