Felipa Lopez - De Monarrez, age 98, of Grand Rapids, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Mercy Health St. Marys Hospital in Grand Rapids. The daughter of Jesus Lopez & Magdalena Cavada, she was born on August 23, 1916 in Mexico. Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 250 Brown Street S.E., Grand Rapids, with the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rev. Father Jose Quintana will preside and cremation will follow. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
