Evelyn Kouchnerkavich

Evelyn Elaine (Dobson) Kouchnerkavich, age 82, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 2, 2017. The daughter of Pearl A. (Nelson) and John Dobson Sr., Evelyn was born on December 12, 1934 in Kingsley. She enjoyed playing softball, "Jeopardy," "The Wheel," crossword puzzles and watching the Tigers. Evelyn was an AVID garage saler! She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis K. Kouchnerkavich; and her sister, Maxine McQueen. Evelyn will be sadly missed by her siblings, Yvonne (Dobson) Johnson, John (Ellen) Dobson Jr., Olive (Dobson) Padgett; her five kids, Susan, Kevin (Lisa), Keith (Vicki), Ken (Connie), and Kirk (Connie); as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her backyard squirrels! A celebration of life will take place from 2-5 p.m., on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Ave. S.E.,Grand Rapids. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wildlife Rehab Center, 1504 Union Ave. N.E., Grand Rapids. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
