Emery Lewis

Emery Benjamin Lewis Sr., age 84, of Wayland, was Called to Heaven on Sunday, November 13, 2022 He was born on October 21, 1938, in Wayland, to Theodore R. & Margaret Lewis. Emery married Henrietta Chrisman on March 4, 1961. Emery proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from General Motors. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Henrietta L. Lewis; sons, Emery B. Lewis Jr. and Scott L. (Stacey) Lewis; six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie and Jack Farmer and Nancy and Terri LaFountain; and many other loving family members and special friends He is preceded by his parents; and 3 sisters, Dolores Engel, Norma Lenz and Patricia Wolthuis. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am at Wayland VFW post 7581, 735 S Main St. Wayland, on Wednesday 16, 2022 and luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Wayland VFW Hall post 7581.
