Eloise Ranney

Eloise Ranney, age 97, of Wyoming, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods in Byron Center. The daughter of Walter and Gladys (Hudkins) Davis, she was born on November 15, 1914 in Boyne City. A graduate of Central Michigan University and the Edward Sparrow Hospital - School of Nursing, she retired as a Registered Nurse from the Grand Rapids Osteopathic Hospital. Her husband, Fred Ranney, preceded her in death. Surviving are her sons; Bill Ranney and Charles Ranney of Lake Forest, CA; grandchildren; Kristi Toscano of San Diego, Brenda Barbee of Mission Viejo, CA, Karla Fruhauf of Santa Clarita, CA, Brian Ranney of Portland, OR, Brandon Ranney of Philadelphia, PA; five great-grandchildren; a sister; Jane Jackson of Englewood, Florida, as well as many friends. A memorial service celebrating Eloise's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Wesley Park United Methodist Church, 1150 32nd St. S.W., Wyoming.
