Elizabeth Faye (Tabbert) Broderick, age 61, of Holland, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, July 17, 2020. She was born April 23, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late William and Angela (Daunhauer) Tabbert. Elizabeth graduated with a Master's degree in K-12 Educational Administration from Michigan State University. On February 28, 1990, she married the love of her life, James Michael Broderick. Elizabeth worked over 18 years with the Saugatuck Public School System as the CFO and Director of Business and Human Resources. In her spare time Elizabeth enjoyed baking cookies, running, hiking, crafting, doing upholstery, antiquing with her husband, and most of all spending time with her family, especially the holidays.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Jim Broderick; children, Kylie Broderick and Joey (Courtney) Broderick; and brother, Doug (Luanne) Tabbert.
A memorial blessing will be celebrated on Monday, July 27, 2020, at St. Peter Catholic
Church, 100 St. Peter Drive, Douglas, MI, 49406, with Father Fabio officiating. Because of Covid-19 restrictions and limits of attendees, please contact Joey or Courtney Broderick.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Outdoor Discovery Center or St. Peters Catholic Church, which were important organizations to Elizabeth.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Spectrum Health Hospice for the care and compassion they showed them and Elizabeth throughout this difficult time.
