Eli Swope

Eli Beaver Swope, age 59, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 26, 2022. He was born December 20, 1962, in Escanaba, MI, to Ambrose and Rose (Moses) Beaver. Eli proudly served his country in the United States Army. Survivors include, his step-mom, Pat Swope; daughters, Maria (Ed) Hussman and Tanya (Swope) Ward; sons, Nicholas (Marion) Swope and Alex VerMerris; grandchildren, Nitika, Rayna, Trinity, Dominick, Corey "CJ", Oliver, and Melanie; sister, Yvonne Eastman; and brother, Joesph (Judy) Beaver. Eli was preceded in death by his biological parents, Ambrose and Rose (Moses) Beaver; adopted mom, Maryann Swope; adopted dad Ron Swope; sisters, Margaret Boatwright; Mary Zalewskit, Cecelia Beaver, and Brandy Swope; brothers, John Beaver and William Beaver Swope; and daughter, Rebeca Swope.
