Eleanore Glusic

Eleanore Glusic, age 94, of Wayland, passed away on July 29, 2023. Born to Frank & Stella (Rutkowski) Levandowski in the family home on Stocking in Grand Rapids on October 16, 1928. She was the eighth of ten children. She married Edward Glusic on April 30, 1949. She is survived by her daughter, Maryann & Cas Rakowski; grandchildren, Casey & Amanda Rakowski of Warren, Elizabeth & Terence Mahone of Clevland, Andrew Rakowski of Wayland, Anna & Alex Harris of Richland; great-grandchildren, Isabelle & Julian Rakowski; sister, Wanda (Penny) Simoncini. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Edward Daniel Jr. (Dan); two infant children; sisters, Sophie, Helen, Jennie, Vickie, LucyAnn and Virginia; brothers, Frank & Ted. Eleanore was independent and proud to be living by herself at 94. She was an avid book reader and loved to cook and bake, especially cookies. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 am on Monday, November 13, 2023 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 128 Cedar Street, Wayland. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am the church.
